Sometimes your parents go out in the evening and you stay home alone, a little bored and scared. There are actually so many ways to entertain yourself all the time you are at home without yours.
Steps
Step 1. Play with your pet
If you have a pet, especially a dog, take it for a walk or play with it around the house. He will keep you company.
Step 2. Close all windows and doors
You will feel safer knowing that thieves will not have access to your home. Ask your parents to install a burglar alarm.
Step 3. Call a friend
You will not feel alone.
Step 4. Listen to some cheerful music but don't turn the volume up too much
Dance and sing if you want! You're home alone, so go wild! In addition, the music will help you not to be afraid of every little noise.
Step 5. Watch TV, or play video games, eat pizza and popcorn, sit on the sofa and relax

Step 6. Listen to background music
If you can't fall asleep, listen to some relaxing background music.
Step 7. Read a good book
It will help you forget everything around you, if you can't, it means that you have chosen the wrong book. You have all the time you want to dedicate to your reading.
Step 8. Exercise
Do push-ups, jump rope, whatever physical activity you can do indoors. This way you will get tired and fall asleep faster. Don't start exercising just before bed, or you'll be too energetic and won't be able to fall asleep.
Step 9. Try to do something you have wanted to do for a long time but did not find the right opportunity
For example, finish writing a review of a book you've read, clean your room, or try a new recipe. But always ask your parents for permission first.
Step 10. Go to bed at an acceptable time
If you want to stay awake a little longer than usual, but don't stay up until 3 in the morning watching TV. If you do it the next day you will feel like a rag.

Get a small box, tear off some slips, write us some ideas and keep them inside the box. Invent your own rules, for example choose only two ideas and then realize the one that inspires you the most.

Get a pedicure and manicure. Massage your feet. If you have a bath, take a moment to relax with bath salts and pearls. By relaxing you will be able to fall asleep easily and most of all, you will be fantastic in the morning!

Step 14. Find yourself some hobbies
Watch TV, or a movie, write an article for wikiHow, draw, play an instrument or do your favorite activities.
Step 15. If you can, invite a friend to stay with you
That day ask him to arrive early and leave as late as he can.
Step 16. Look for new songs to listen to or movies to watch
Step 17. Get a snack
For example, pretzels, popcorn, chips or cookies. They are not very healthy but sometimes you can indulge in a sin of gluttony.
Step 18. If you are scared during the night, hug your stuffed animal and don't worry
If you hear strange noises ignore them and pretend nothing has happened.
Advice
- Ask your parents to invite a friend to stay with you, you will not feel lonely, bored or scared if you have someone next to you.
- Watch a fun and cheerful movie. Or a fun Anime.
- If it is dark or there is a lot of silence around you will feel more alone.
- Start singing. You will relax and feel less alone.
- Don't think of anything scary.
- If you choose to watch a movie don't choose a horror or high-voltage movie at all! You may be very frightened and have nightmares!
- Leave the background TV on, it will keep you company.
- Each house has its own noises, sometimes numerous! They are usually related to water pipes or heating. Listen to them and find out where they come from. Once you understand that there is nothing to fear, you will be able to feel comfortable. When the house is full of people the noises are the same, but maybe you don't notice it.
- Turn on some lights around the house. And leave a light on in your room.
- Think about happy times, friends and family.
- If you have a console or a computer with good video games, play on the internet with your friends, or with other people.
- If you get bored of cleaning the house, your parents will be happy when they return.
- Take a shower or bath to relax.
- Remember that you are never alone. There will always be someone around your home.
Warnings
- If you notice anything strange, call your parents. If it is a serious problem, contact the emergency numbers.
- Never experiment in the kitchen if you have never done it before.
- Don't set up a party without your parents knowing. If your parents notice this they will get angry with you and will probably put you in detention and will not trust you anymore.
- Behave yourself if you are alone in the house, if you do something wrong you could find yourself in trouble.
