"Nerdy!", "Loser!", "Goofy!". Have you had enough of these offensive terms? Are you being bullied or labeled a "loser"? Well, if you can't TO BE a tough guy, you can always pretend to be tough! While some of the following tips may seem a little ironic to you, hopefully you can find some inspiration among them.
Steps
Step 1. Clothing:
tear off your shirt sleeves and wear ripped jeans. Lift and unbutton your shirt collar. Biker gloves (biker style) will help you look more menacing. Also try a black leather jacket. Looking like a military man is also a good way to look tough; in many cities you will find specially equipped clothing stores to refuel. Wear military pants (preferably camouflage) and tight shirts that highlight your muscles (trucker tank tops are ideal).
Be aware that if you start dressing like this (while you generally dress like a loser or have a reputation for being a weakling), people will think you're just posing and make fun of you
Step 2. Accessories:
always wear a thick silver chain around your neck, but not gold, otherwise you will look rich or boastful, spoiling the look as a whole. Large bracelets can also serve the purpose, as can black or leather cuffs.
Step 3. Shoes:
wear black trainers or skater shoes with long laces. Classic black shoes are also acceptable, and boots like Dr. Martens are effective at giving you an intimidating air.
Step 4. Fitness:
having developed muscles helps you appear stronger and harder. Do weights, push-ups, sit-ups, and other exercises frequently to build muscle. Even if you don't know how to fight, good fitness should keep you from getting into a fight. Start doing martial arts like Kung Fu, Karate, Taekwondo, Jiu-jitsu, Judo, or Muay Thai, or practice self-defense styles like Hapkido or mixed martial arts. Krav Maga is another very effective fighting style typically used by the military.
Step 5. Hair:
Having long hair can help if you have the right style and it looks good on you. If, on the other hand, you have short hair, be creative and pull it up a little with some mousse or gel. A hint of a beard can make you look tougher at times, but that doesn't apply to everyone.
Step 6. You must have a penetrating and intimidating look
Practice in front of the mirror.
Step 7. You must also have a determined, tough walk; take longer steps and keep your chest out a little
Don't overdo it, though, or you'll look ridiculous.
Step 8. Put together a gang of tough guys; it will make you look much more threatening in the eyes of others, if there are many of you
Step 9. Never show signs of pain if you are hurt, as it will make you look weak
Step 10. Always look people straight in the eye
Step 11. When you hold something in your hand, grasp it firmly with a powerful squeeze
Advice
- Having big muscles really helps keep you out of trouble.
- Trust yourself! That's the key to being and looking tough!
- Don't be too sociable, make sure you have few but good friends, preferably those in your gang.
- Try walking around the stereo ball, listening to rock or metal music, because it would make you look a lot more tough.
