Do you want to show long, voluminous lashes and doe eyes? Have you seen advertisements for expensive mascaras that promise to lengthen, strengthen and volumize them? Steps
Step 1. Start with perfectly clean lashes
It will not be necessary to remove the remaining makeup, the important thing is that the lashes are completely free of makeup. If you have straight or drooping lashes, use an eyelash curler to gently curl them upward. (If you have very short lashes, buy false lashes, whole or in tufts, which will allow you to achieve a natural look. Both can be treated with mascara and give you a delicious look when applied correctly.)
Step 2. Open your mascara, take out the brush
Do not pull it out too hard to avoid damaging it. Remove excess product by gently rubbing the brush against the top edge of the package. This will prevent unwanted lumps of mascara from forming on the lashes.
Step 3. Using your dominant hand, apply mascara to the lashes of the upper eye rim, trying to reach every single lash
If necessary, run more than one pass to add more product where it is needed. If you wish, apply mascara also on the lower rim of the eye, your eyes will immediately appear more lively and open.
Step 4. The following coats after the first are only optional, but they will give more volume and thickness to your lashes
Step 5. Put the brush back into the package and twist it gently
Do not extract and reinsert the brush several times in an attempt to collect a greater dose of product, with this movement you will only ruin the bristles of the toothbrush. Using your steadier hand, gently 'brush' the tip of your lashes to coat them with mascara. Your lashes will immediately appear longer. Continue until you get the desired result.
Advice
- After applying the mascara, wipe off any product smudges from the upper and lower lids.
- Before starting it is important to remove any excess product from the brush, otherwise you will get an unpleasant lumpy result!
- Perfect this look with eyeliner.
- Use good quality mascara.
- If you are unsure of the age of your mascara, throw it away.
- If you have very light hair, go for brown mascara. For all other hair tones you can use black.
Warnings
- Never apply mascara if you have an eye infection.
- After 6 months of opening the mascara, throw it away! Over time, the bacteria may have multiplied and accumulated inside.
- Never share mascara with anyone, it could be a transmitter of germs and infections.
