Steps
Step 1. Find a quiet, preferably solitary place to meditate on the ways of the Lord

Step 2. Focus on God, as this is the most important thing to do in any case
Step 3. Direct your mind to the Spirit of Christ
"Those who are according to the flesh turn their minds to the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, to the things of the Spirit. For the mind controlled by the flesh produces death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit produces life and peace" (Romans 8: 5, 6).
Step 4. Pray to the Lord through the Holy Spirit to reach a direct connection with Him
Step 5. Meditate on God's law:

Advice
- Clear your mind of all other thoughts and focus completely on God and on Him alone.
- Praying can never really harm you; therefore, continue to do so, especially through the Holy Spirit.
