This article explains how to see the list of all running applications (and how much memory each one is using) on an Android phone or tablet.
Steps

Step 1. Open the "Settings" of the device
The icon

it is usually found in the application menu.

Step 2. Scroll down and select About
On some models, this option is called Device information or Phone information.

Step 3. Scroll down and select Software Information
This option is found almost at the bottom of the menu. If you don't see it, you can skip this step.

Step 4. Tap the Build Number option seven times
After the seventh time, the following message will appear: "You are now a developer".

Step 5. Go back to the "Settings" menu
You can do this by pressing the button to go back on the phone or tablet until you see the menu again.

Step 6. Scroll down and select Developer options
This item is located at the bottom of the menu, usually above the "About" option.

Step 7. Select Running Services
This option is at the bottom of the list. You will then see the list of all running applications and how much memory is used by each of them.
- The amount of RAM used by each app's process is displayed next to its name.
- Go back to this menu whenever you want to know which applications are running.
