Everyone wants to look good. But some teenagers face problems like braces and have a tendency to feel ashamed. Do not do it! Follow these steps to learn how to have confidence in yourself with braces.
Steps
Step 1. Try and experiment with different colors
In time you will know which color suits you.
Step 2. Apply glitter eyeshadow if you are a girl
The eyeshadow takes the focus away from the mouth and shifts it to the eyes.
Step 3. Strictly follow the diet of the foods you can eat
Sometimes, they may even take your braces off early! Don't eat sticky foods. There may be some residue left in the appliance and it would not be a pleasant effect to see.
Step 4. Don't be shy
Go ahead, smile and hold your head up. People may have a different idea of you.
Step 5. Don't let anyone tell you that you look like a loser or anything like that
Step 6. And most of all, be yourself
Just do what you want. Don't be what others want you to be!
Step 7. Be yourself, because it is not true that the appliance makes you look stupid
Don't let anyone tell you things like that because you really aren't.
Step 8. Always remember not to mutter or try to keep your mouth shut
People may get the wrong idea and think that you are overly shy and don't like to talk.
Advice
- When getting braces on for the first time, don't choose a flashy color, choose a light purple or other light color. They are still cute tones, but they don't draw all the attention to the teeth.
- Be a proud and positive person.
- If you are going to bring two or more colors, make sure they are in the same family (warm / cold) and that they are not opposites.
- If you want beautiful colors, try a dark and a light tone, such as gray and pink. Try not to choose two dark or two light ones.
- Experiment with colors and decide which ones are best for you and don't draw attention to your teeth.
- Be careful of the colors you choose - white and clear can get stained easily, although they minimize the attention on the media!
- There is no need to be shy or walk with your head down to avoid getting noticed.
