Step 3. Prepare the dough
Use a food processor to mix 1 stick of room temperature unsalted butter, ½ cup of coconut oil, ½ cup of brown sugar, 1/3 cup of honey, and 1/3 cup of peanut butter. Advice
- Cereal bars are a healthy snack especially for children.
- If you're in a hurry and want to make the bars in under 10 minutes, don't toast the ingredients (you won't notice much difference if you don't) and leave the mix in the fridge for just a few minutes before cutting.
- You can also use them to make some cute and healthy gifts.
Warnings
- If you wait too long before cutting the mix and making the bars, the mixture will get tough.
- When buying tahini, make sure the product is concentrated, or you won't get a good result.
