Cereal bars often contain a lot of unhealthy ingredients, including excess sugar and salt, and a bunch of oddly named preservatives and additives. Making oatmeal bars at home is ideal to avoid those you find at the supermarket and prepare a healthier, tastier and more genuine snack. They are great to pack in your backpack when you go hiking, camping, boating and so on.
