This article teaches how to compress multiple files into a ZIP archive on a Samsung Galaxy and then share it with your contacts.
Steps
Step 1. Open the "My files" application
Look for and tap the yellow folder icon in the apps menu to open "My Files".
Step 2. Tap and hold the file you want to compress
The document will be selected and a yellow check mark will appear.
Optionally, you can select multiple files or a folder to compress. In this case, tap on any files or folders you want to select
Step 3. Tap the ⋮ icon
It is located in the upper right corner. Tapping it will open a drop-down menu with all available options.
Step 4. Tap ZIP in the drop-down menu
All selected files will be compressed, creating a new ZIP archive.
Step 5. Tap and hold the ZIP file
The document will be selected on the list and a yellow check mark will appear.
Step 6. Tap the orange Share button at the top of the screen
You can find it next to the "Delete" option in the upper right corner of the screen. This will allow you to select an application to share the ZIP file in question.
Step 7. Select an app from the pop-up menu
Within the application the menu of your contacts will open and you will have the possibility to select one to send him the ZIP file.
Step 8. Tap the "Submit" button
Depending on the application you choose, you will be able to share the ZIP file with the selected contact in a chat or via email.
