The death of a loved one, be it a parent, grandparent or sibling, is always a traumatic and difficult event to accept. However, there are ways to deal with grief.
Steps
Step 1. Let it out
When losing a loved one, the best thing to do is sit back and let off steam. Don't keep your feelings inside.
Step 2. After you cry and let off steam, sit down and talk to someone
Confiding in another person helps manage pain.
Step 3. When you go to the morgue, you may not feel like seeing the body of your loved one if the casket is open
However, seeing the lifeless body of a loved one for the last time can help you remember their appearance and the good times they spent together; also, if you decide not to see the body, you may regret it in the future.
Step 4. Remember the person who is no longer there
Look at old photos or videos to remember the good times we had together.
