Wi-Fi allows people to connect different devices through a wireless network. There are a ton of devices that you can connect to a hotspot and Wi-Fi network with your computer, and one of them is the TV. Keep reading!
Steps

Step 1. Get a media adapter
A media adapter will allow you to connect your TV to a wireless network. Most media adapters have both classic and HDMI audio / video ports, so they will work with both older and more modern TVs.

Step 2. Make sure your computer has a feature called Intel Wireless Display
At the moment, it is the only technology that allows computers to be connected to TVs via Wi-Fi.

Step 3. Connect the media adapter to your TV
Insert the cables into their respective ports, turn on the device and follow the manual to connect it to a Wi-Fi network.

Step 4. Launch Intel Wireless Display on your computer
Some laptops have a dedicated switch on one side that will immediately activate this function. In other models, however, you will have to start the program on your computer to get it started.

Step 5. Wait for the Intel Wireless Display program to recognize the media adapter
Once recognized, click on "Connect".
- Some media adapters will require you to enter a passcode before your computer can establish a connection with them. It's just an authentication step, and the codes you'll need will appear on your TV.
- Once the connection is complete, your PC screen will be projected onto your TV screen, which will reflect every action you take with your computer.

Step 6. Finished

- Make sure the media adapter is compatible with Intel Wireless Display Technology.
- Consult your PC manual or contact the manufacturer if you don't know if your laptop supports Intel Wireless Display or not.
