Here's how to creatively decorate your table for a lunch or party with sweets or chocolate using simple materials available at home!
Steps
Step 1. Cut the end of a straw down to the collapsible part
Make several cuts in the folding part as shown in the picture.
Step 2. With your fingernail, curl the pieces you cut outwards
Step 3. Wrap the cakes with aluminum foil or cling film as shown
Step 4. Open a napkin so you have only one layer
You may have to cut it to get the shape of a square.
Step 5. Fold the napkin following the procedure described below
-
Fold it in half.
-
Fold it in half once again.
-
Fold it in half, diagonally. The square in front of you has four sides. Two consecutive sides are folded, the other two remain open. When folding the napkin at the diagonal, match the two folded sides and the two open sides respectively.
-
Fold the napkin again as shown in the picture. The line on which to fold the napkin joins the center point of the unfolded side and the opposite vertex of the triangle.
Step 6. Cut in the shape of a petal
Step 7. Open the napkin
Step 8. Squeeze the middle part and twist it, then gently reopen the napkin
Step 9.
Make a cut from the outer edge towards the center (the radius).
Step 10. Place the chocolate (or candy) in the center and wrap it gently
Step 11. Twist the middle part so it is tight
Insert it into the stem of the straw and screw it tight like a screw.
Step 12. Finished
Advice
- You can even make a bouquet to give as a gift.
- You can use different colors of napkins to get beautiful flowers.
- If you wrap the treats in tinfoil, the shimmer will make your artwork even more eye-catching.
- Instead of cutting the napkin yourself, you may find some that are already cut into the shape you want.
- Instead of inserting the candy, you could wet the flower with a scented oil and expose it in the room. It will smell good and have a relaxing effect.
- If you've caught a cold, wet the flower with eucalyptus essential oil and place it on the nightstand. It is very good for the respiratory tract.
- A good idea is to seal the end of the straw and fill it with an essential oil using a syringe. The scent will last longer.
Warnings
- Keep the flower away from moisture and heat sources.
- Do not ingest the inedible parts.
- Don't expose it for too long.
