Connecting your BlackBerry smartphone to your computer allows you to update its operating system and easily transfer files, music and images between the two devices. This is a very simple process and this tutorial describes all the steps.
Steps
Step 1. Start both devices
The first step is to have a smartphone and computer up and running.
Step 2. Connect using the USB cable that came with your phone
Connect the micro USB terminal of the connection cable to the corresponding port on one side of the BlackBerry. Now connect the other end of the cable to a free USB port on your computer.
Older computers do not have USB 2.0 ports. If this is the case, the computer will notify you
Step 3. Wait for the phone driver to automatically install on your computer

Step 4. Wait for a message to appear
When your BlackBerry is ready to communicate with the computer, a small notification window will appear in the lower right corner of the desktop. Now you can have fun by transferring everything you want between the two devices.
Advice
- Do not disconnect the USB cable while installing the device or transferring files. Failure to do so could corrupt the information you are transferring.
