Would you like to go to sea but don't have a boat? Don't worry. Calm down and follow this tutorial to learn how to draw a boat in two different styles. You will sail with your imagination!

Steps
Step 1. First of all, prepare all the necessary materials, such as paper, pencil, sharpener and eraser
For coloring, you can choose from colored pencils, crayons, markers or watercolors. Use good quality drawing paper if you want the colors to look their best.
Method 1 of 2: Cartoon Style Sailing Ship
Step 1. Sketch a truncated inverted triangle in the center of the paper
This will be the hull.
Step 2. Draw a triangle on top of the base
Step 3. Draw squares on the triangle
It will be the sails.
Step 4. Outline the shapes of the boat
Add details such as wooden planks on the hull, a life preserver and masts behind the sails.
Step 5. Erase the guidelines and stamp the contours
Step 6. Add some color
Look at the figure for reference, or color as you like.
Method 2 of 2: Realistic Style Wooden Boat
Step 1. Sketch a large teardrop shape in the center of the paper
This will be the top of the boat.
Step 2. Under the teardrop shape, draw a long arc
It will be the hull of the boat.
Step 3. Outline the shapes of the boat
Add details inside and out. See the figure as a guide.
