Steps
Step 1. Find inspiration in fabrics, things and people

Step 2. Start drawing on paper or using software
Start with a human figure. It won't have to be anatomically correct, but it will have to provide a stable base for your clothes. Sketch the general idea and then add the details to refine the design.
