This article explains how to download the Fortnite video game, the famous "battle royale" style game, on a Windows system.
Steps
Step 1. Check the hardware requirements needed to be able to run Fortnite on a computer
In this way you will be sure that you will not have any problems during the installation and use phase of the game.
- Look for the list of minimum system requirements necessary to be able to use Fortnite on a PC and compare them with the technical specifications of your computer.
- To be able to review the technical specifications of a Windows system, access the Control Panel, click on the category System and security and finally click on the icon System.
Step 2. Start the internet browser you normally use and visit the following URL
This is the official Fortnite website.
Step 3. Click the yellow Download button
It is located in the upper right corner of the page.
Step 4. Select the PC / Mac item
You will be redirected to a new page where you can create your account for the game.
Step 5. Select one of the registration options
In order to download the Fortnite installation file and be able to play it, you need to create a personal account.
Step 6. Fill out the form with the requested information and click on the Continue button
The latter is located at the bottom of the page, where the account registration options are indicated. You will be redirected to the download page of the installation file.
Step 7. Select the Windows option
Step 8. Click on the Save button located in the pop-up window that appeared
The game installation file will be downloaded to your computer.
Step 9. Run the installation file, then refer to the instructions that will appear on the screen
The installation file should be stored in your computer's "Downloads" folder. You will be guided through the game installation procedure which includes account registration.
