Fortnite is one of the best known and most popular games that have been produced by Epic Games. It is a free game, but it offers users the possibility to purchase additional accessories such as new characters or new skins. Epic Games has implemented the transaction system based on V-Bucks (a kind of virtual currency) that allows users to purchase skins and other accessories. V-Bucks can be obtained by purchasing them for real money directly from the PlayStation Store. This article explains how to buy Fortnite skins directly on PlayStation 4.
Steps
Step 1. Press the PS button on the controller to access the PS4 dashboard
Step 2. Select the Fortnite game and press the button X to start it.
The exact location of the Fortnite icon will vary based on the number of video games and applications that are installed on your PS4.
Step 3. Press the X button when the game launch screen appears
In this way the loading of the program will continue.
Step 4. Select the Battle Royale game mode from the main game screen, then press the button X.
It is not possible to purchase new skins while playing the other modes offered by Fortnite
Step 5. When the new screen appears, press the controller button marked with the triangle
You will be redirected to the Fortnite store.
Step 6. Highlight the skin you want to purchase and press the X button
You will be redirected to the product page you have selected.
The number of skins available in the store is always limited. The skins for sale are changed every 24 hours
Step 7. Press the square controller button to select the Buy option
The chosen skin will be added to your Fortnite account.
- If the skin also includes additional accessories, the button function will be labeled Buy Items.
- If you don't have enough V-Bucks available to purchase, the controller's square button function will be Get V-Bucks. Pressing it will redirect you to the PlayStation Store, where you can choose how many V-Bucks to buy. Once you have obtained enough V-Bucks, return to the Fornite store to complete the purchase of the skin of your choice.
- To see the list of all the skins you have purchased, press the controller button with a circle, then choose the Locker option from the menu that appears at the top of the screen. Select the "Outfit" option from your "Locker", then press the X button on the controller. A page will appear with all the skins associated with your Fortnite account. Select the one you want to use and press the X button to make your character wear it.
