How to Build a Tree House in Minecraft

Living in trees… Something to think about, right? If only it were possible to build a tree house. Guess what? You can do it!

Steps

1. Form a hollow tube using wood from the trees that has not yet been turned into planks. Make sure you do it vertically. Use good length equals 10 blocks or so.

   

2. Add stairs to go up and down the wooden pipe, you can also make a cobblestone staircase.

   

3. Add a board around the pipe to make the dwelling. Widen the home platform as you wish. Make sure you leave space for the doors.

   

4. Build bridges between one house and another.

   

5. Refine the house with support beams for added realism. Use paintings to add a touch of class. You can also use furniture, such as beds, shelves, and chests.

   

6. Add additional layers to the house by extending the tube and repeating steps 2 through 5.

   

7. Your tree house is complete! R>

   

   Giant Tree House

   1. Get lots of wood. 597 pieces should be fine.

      

   2. Form a hollow tube that is 30m high, 4m wide and 4m long. The interior must be empty.

      

   3. Create a door at the bottom and in the middle. Create stairs at the top and center.

      

   4. In the other, create a square platform with wooden plates. Make the sides with 13x13 wooden boards.

      

   5. Extend the walls in height by 4 blocks.

      

   6. Make the ceiling like the floor.

      

   7. Extend the trunk in height by 10.

      

   8. Create rooms inside the tree house. They can be of any size.

      

   9. Shape the windows using glass.

      

   10. Form the roof with spruce slabs and planks.

       

   11. Make another tree 16 blocks apart, 15 high, 4 wide, and 4 long.

       

   12. Form a circle of 10 blocks in diameter. Do this around the top of the second tree and along the center of the first tree.

       

   13. Connect the two trees with a bridge (make the bridge as you wish).

       

   14. Extend the top of the second tree by 6 blocks.

       

   15. Use fence posts with posts in the second tree.

       

   16. Use leaves on the second tree and under the first tree house.

       

   17. Decorate the tree house to finish. To complete the house, use some flashlights around the house to scare away the mobs.

       

       Advice

       • Make sure you build a secure entrance.
       • Build the very tall house to enjoy the sunset and see the distant mobs.
       • Build the tallest tree house or create different floors to better control the area around you.
       • Use a trap door to make things more real.
       • Bone meal transforms saplings into mature trees instantly.
       • Use Sneak Mode (Left Shift Key) to avoid falling from dangerous heights.
       • If you want to build a tree house quickly, find a tree and build on its branches, removing most of the leaves to make things real.
       • Create it in a jungle or create a jungle around the house.
       • With the wood you get from the trees you destroy, make boards and a table to build. Use it to make wooden sticks out of the boards, and then make an ax and torches. The torches are made with a single stick and some coal.

       Warnings

       • Destroy the trees in the area. If a fire starts, your house will vanish in tatters.
       • Use flashlights around the area. It will serve to see better at night and prevent mobs. Don't bring too many people to the tree.
       • Don't build the house too high or it might be struck by lightning.
