Method 1 of 6: Hatch an Egg in Pokémon GO Without Walking
Step 1. Secure your smartphone to a bicycle wheel

If necessary, make the convoy move at a moderate speed, then simply let it spin. This trick was made known by a Japanese Twitter user.
Step 6. Simply leave the Pokémon GO application running while you are stuck in traffic
Before the invention of Pokémon GO, who would have thought that being stuck in traffic could be so much fun? Moving at a speed of less than 30 Km / h, the application will detect the motion and count it as the distance traveled useful for the incubation of the eggs. Note: We are not encouraging or suggesting doing a risky activity like playing Pokémon GO while driving a vehicle, but simply leaving the app running so that the eggs hatch automatically.

Method 2 of 6: Hatch an Egg in Pokémon GO
Step 1. Get a Pokémon Egg
To hatch an egg while playing Pokémon Go, the first step is to find it. To achieve this, you will have to walk to the vicinity of a PokéStop and activate it by rotating the medal that appears in the center of its icon. A series of items related to the world of Pokémon will be created and one of them could be an egg. If you were lucky, tap on it to get it back. If, on the other hand, the PokéStop you visited did not generate any eggs, go to the next one with a blue icon to try your luck again.
Step 2. Check the time required for the egg to hatch
After you have managed to find an egg, you need to find out what time it takes for it to hatch once it is placed in the incubator. Follow these instructions:
- Access the main menu by selecting the PokéBall-shaped button at the bottom of the screen;
- Choose the "Pokémon" option;
- At this point, tap on "Eggs" located in the upper right corner of the screen;
- Find the egg you just picked, then select its icon. The video will show the number of kilometers required for incubation and subsequent hatching. You will have to walk for a variable length of 2, 5 or 10 km, after which your egg will hatch.
Step 3. Return the egg to the incubator
After you have collected it, in order for it to hatch, you will need to incubate it. You can use the incubator you received at the beginning of the game or you can buy another one at a PokéShop. Follow these instructions to incubate an egg:
- View the list of eggs you own as explained in the previous step.
- Touch the icon of the egg you want to hatch;
- Press the "Start Incubation" button, then choose an incubator to begin the process.
Step 4. Travel the distance indicated by the egg
For example, if it shows the value 5 km, it means that you have to cover a total distance of 5 km for it to hatch. You can choose to walk, run, skateboard or ride a bike. After covering the entire distance, you will see the message "Oh?" Appear on the screen, indicating that your new Pokémon is finally born.
- Remember that for the distance traveled to be significant for hatching, the game application must be active.
- You cannot travel the distance required for incubation at a speed greater than 30km / h.
- Pay attention to the real world around you as you move using the game application.
- The higher the distance required for hatching, the greater the rarity of the Pokémon that is about to come to light.
Step 5. Once the first egg has hatched, you can begin the incubation of a second element
The incubator will continue to "deteriorate" even after the egg that was incubating has hatched. The best thing to do is therefore try to use all incubators as efficiently as possible, so that they always have a new egg to incubate as soon as the current one hatches.

Method 3 of 6: Dated Versions of the Game
Step 1. Obtain a Pokémon Egg by matching two Pokémon belonging to the same Egg Group or a Legendary Pokémon with a Ditto
For every 255 steps taken within the game world, you will have a chance for a Pokémon to lay an egg.
Step 2. Get a Pokémon with the "Magmascudo" or "Flame Body" ability
The Pokémon Slugma, Magcargo, Magby, Magmar, Magmortar Litwick, Lampent, Chandelure, Larvesta, and Volcarona possess these abilities. Litwick and his evolved forms may have the "Flame Flare" ability, you'll need to check its stats to be sure.
Step 3. Add the Pokémon that has the "Magmascudo" or "Flame Body" ability to your team
The "Magmascudo" and "Firebody" abilities both halve the number of steps required for the egg to hatch, making the process much more efficient.
Step 4. Hatch your Pokémon Eggs by walking around the game world
You can speed up the process by using a bicycle to move around a large area of clay. In addition to the "Cycle Path" of the Kanto region (also known as "Route 17") there are other routes useful for hatching the eggs: in Cyclamipolis in the Hoenn region and in Phlemminia in the Sinnoh region. Method 4 of 6: Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire
Step 1. Find a muddy area
Step 2. Use a "Cross Bike" to try to go up the muddy stretch
With each failed attempt you will have walked the equivalent of one step. You can use an object to hold down the directional arrow which allows you to move forward, so that it does the work for you until the egg hatches.
Unfortunately, this procedure exploits a bug in the game that has been fixed in the Emerald version. In that case you will have to use the recommended route present in Ciclamipoli. Obviously, in the games belonging to the fourth generation the bug is still exploitable, so have fun
Method 5 of 6: Pokémon Diamond and Pearl
Step 1. Go to the "Fuego Foundries" which are located near the Giardinfiorito town
Step 2. Find a spot where the auto slide plates are facing a wall (as shown in the image)
Step 3. Place your character close to the wall, then press and hold the directional arrow (using a rubber band or clip) so that it continues walking towards the sliding plate facing the wall
Let it walk on its own until the egg hatches.
Method 6 of 6: Pokémon X and Y
If you are playing Pokémon X and Y, try this method
Step 1. Get a copy of Ditto
In this case, the Pokémon's gender is not relevant. The Ditto can mate with any type of Pokémon capable of spawning thanks to its "Transform" ability.
Step 2. Place a copy of Ditto and the Pokémon you wish to use for pairing in the "Pokémon Day Care" located along "Route 7"
Step 3. Locate the "Golden Palace"

- The paths for hatching mentioned in the various sections of the article are simply uninterrupted paths present in the game world, which can be traveled both on foot and by bicycle. Normally, each path is about 150 steps long. The path in Flemminia is located on the far right of the city (using the bicycle you will have to use the fastest gear to be able to overcome the muddy and slippery parts of the path). In the city of Cyclamipolis, the path to follow is located in the northernmost part of the city near the "Pokémon Day Care".
- If you received an egg, head to Goldenrod City, then cycle from north to south, and vice versa, checking the summary of the egg status until they hatch.
- Check the system settings of your gaming device to maximize the volume. While you are waiting for the eggs to hatch, you can perform any other activity on the computer. Stay close to the game console to be able to hear the audible notification of hatching.
