This wikiHow teaches you how to add a poll to your Facebook event, using an iPhone or iPad.
Steps
Step 1. Open Facebook on your iPhone or iPad
The icon of this app is blue with a white "f" inside. You'll usually find it on the main screen.
Step 2. Press the menu ≡ in the lower right corner of the screen
Step 3. Press Events
Step 4. Press Organized Events
You will see this button in the white bar at the top of the screen.
Step 5. Press the event
The information page will open.
Step 6. Press the Write something… field
You will see it at the top of the event page. Press it and a menu will open at the bottom.
Step 7. Press Publish in the event
You will see this button at the bottom of the list. The new post page will open with some options in the lower half.
Step 8. Scroll up in the menu
You will see it at the bottom of the screen (with the items Camera, GIF, Photo / Video, etc.). Press it and more options for the post will appear.
Step 9. Scroll down and press Poll
It is one of the last items on the menu. Look for the green circle with the three vertical lines.
Step 10. Type your question in the "Ask a question" field
The guests will be able to answer this question.
Step 11. Write all the answers that you can vote in their respective "Option" fields
You will see them appear with the names "Option 1", "Option 2", etc.
Step 12. Select an option from the "Survey Term" drop-down menu
You will find it below the possible answers. Here you can indicate the duration of the survey.
If you don't want the survey to expire, select Never from the menu.
Step 13. Press Publish in the upper right corner of the screen
This will post the poll on the event page. Invitees will be able to view and respond to the survey until the deadline you set.
