This article explains how to create a multiple choice poll on Telegram using Android.
Steps
Step 1. Open Telegram on an Android device
The icon looks like a white airplane on a blue background. It is usually found on the main screen or in the application list.
Step 2. Tap on the button
It is located at the top right of the Telegram screen.
Step 3. Type @pollbot
A list of relevant results will appear.
Step 4. Click on PollBot
This result looks like a light blue icon containing a bar graph. It will allow you to open a conversation with PollBot.
Step 5. Tap Start
It is located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 6. Type your question and tap the submit button
The icon looks like a blue paper airplane and is at the bottom right.
Step 7. Type in the first possible choice and tap the submit button
For example, if the question were "What is your favorite season?", The first answer would be "Winter".
Step 8. Type the second choice and tap the submit button
If you only want to provide two possible answers, you can stop here. If not, keep entering more responses and tapping the submit button until you've added as many as you want.
Step 9. Type / done and hit the submit button
A URL will appear in the conversation.
Step 10. Tap the poll URL
A list of conversations will appear.
Step 11. Select the group you want to share the survey with
A confirmation message will appear.
Step 12. Click OK
The survey will then be shared with the group in question. Members will be able to respond by tapping or clicking on the response they prefer.
