This article explains how to increase the Snapstreak, which shows how many consecutive days you have been chatting with a friend on Snapchat.
Steps
Step 1. Open Snapchat

Step 2. Tap the ○ button to take a photo
You will create a snap that you can send to a friend.
Tap and hold the button ○ to shoot a video.
Step 3. Tap the blue arrow on the bottom right to send it
Step 4. Tap a friend
A blue check mark will appear next to its name.
- Pick someone who will likely get back to you within 24 hours.
- If you see the emoji? Next to your friend's name, you already have an active Snapstreak. This means that both of you have sent snaps to each other within the previous 24 hours.
Step 5. Tap Send at the bottom right
Snapchat will send your snap.
Step 6. Make sure your friend will snap back to you within 24 hours
A Snapstreak will then be created and will you see the emoji? to the right of his name in the contact list.
- Repeat these steps once a day to increase the Snapstreak. A number will appear next to the emoji?, Which will represent the duration of the Snapstreak in days. Both you and your friend have to send snaps once a day to keep increasing it.
