If you own a dog you will probably understand what it's like to be in control when it comes to fleas. It doesn't matter if you are using it, brewer's yeast is always a great alternative to keep your friend healthy, happy and free from fleas!
Steps
Method 1 of 3: To Use During Meals
Step 1. When it's time for meal, prepare a normal amount of food for your dog
Step 2. For every 2 pounds of the dog's weight, add one milligram of brewer's yeast to the food you are preparing
Method 2 of 3: To Use During the Toilet
Step 1. Before doing regular dog grooming, prepare a container full of soapy water and add some brewer's yeast to a jar with a spray cap
Step 2. Comb the dog with a flea brush and throw the fleas you find in the container with the soapy water to drown them
Step 3. Continue grooming the dog as normal
After finishing, sprinkle a little brewer's yeast on the dog as a substitute for flea powder.
Method 3 of 3: Give the Dog a Tablet
Step 1. Buy flea tablets that contain brewer's yeast
Step 2. Hide the lozenges in the food (cheese, meatballs, etc.) and give it to the dog
Make sure he swallows it.
Advice
- If used continuously you should see results within 3 weeks to a month.
- You can also add garlic to brewer's yeast to ward off fleas for a longer period.
- While grooming, if your dog licks the flea powder it won't hurt.
