Dizziness, or "spinning," is caused by the loss of contact between the body and the brain. Sometimes, you get dizzy just before you pass out, or when you are very hungry. Thanks to this article you will be able to learn how to make you dizzy to have fun in a safe way.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Getting Dizzy
Step 1. Go around in circles and look at the ground
The simplest and most common way to get your head spinning is to circle, look at the ground, and spin again as fast as possible 7-10 times. You don't have to go too far in circles to get your head spinning.
- Advanced Method: Grab a baseball bat, or other stick that is long enough; put one end of the club on the ground and rest your forehead on the other end and start spinning.
- Do not try to run or do complex activities after exercising. Chances are you can't physically and you could get hurt.
Step 2. Sit on a swing, turn around and let go
The next time you go to the park, sit on the swing and twist it as much as possible; let go and turn on yourself very quickly.
Spin in a wheeled chair
Step 3. Crouch and stand up quickly
Another very simple way to get your head spinning is to squat for some time, bending your legs as if to curl up; then, suddenly stand up. This technique is also known as "getting blood to your head", which is the same as making you feel dizzy.
If you are hungry or if it is very hot, the sensation will be more intense. If you're not careful, you may even pass out
Step 4. Lift your feet higher than your head
When the lower limbs are raised higher than the upper body, the blood will go to the head and you will suffer from dizziness. Try to move as little as possible during the exercise to intensify the effect.
- Stick upside down on the bars of a swing, on a fence, or on a pull-up bar. Make sure you turn around before letting go.
- Go on a roller coaster that goes upside down, or do a spinning carousel that you can control, such as the spinning cup carousel.
Step 5. Exercise
Often, when you start exercising, such as running, jumping jacks, or even jumping rope, your head starts to spin. Choose an activity that makes you move a lot, get out of the house and have fun.
Sometimes, dizziness is caused by low blood sugar levels. In this case, you will have to eat something otherwise you will overheat. In this case it is very important to sit down, drink water and eat as soon as possible
Step 6. Look for optical illusions
Optical illusions, which you can find online or look in books, can make you dizzy even if you don't move. They are perfect for giving you the illusion of movement even if you're not actually going anywhere.
- There are many very funny optical illusion videos available on YouTube.
- If you can't find any optical illusions you like on YouTube, try watching visual effects on iTunes or Windows Media Player while listening to music. The effect is very intense.
Step 7. Try doing a dizziness challenge
Dizziness challenges are very popular on social networks and YouTube. These videos show guys doing some very stupid races after getting blood in their heads. Get inspired by the videos or try one of these activities after getting dizzy:
- Wear as many socks as possible
- Do a math problem
- write your name
- Try saying the times tables
- Walk straight, slowly
- Hit a baseball
Part 2 of 2: Getting Dizzy Safely
Step 1. Make sure you clear any obstacles
If you turn too much on yourself, you could lose your balance and fall. Never do this in the kitchen or at home.
- The best place to get dizzy is outdoors, possibly on grass and in very spacious places where you can have total freedom of movement. Falling on the grass is ideal.
- If you can't leave the house, make sure you remove any objects or toys from the ground and that you are far enough away from furniture and walls not to hurt yourself in the event of a fall.
Step 2. Don't overdo it
Don't turn on yourself to the point of falling to the ground. Usually, 7-8 rounds is enough to make you dizzy. Don't do more.
Controlling the fall when the head turns a lot is very difficult. You could break your wrist, arm or hurt even more
Step 3. Don't get dizzy on a full stomach
Nausea and dizziness are related to each other. Avoid getting dizzy if you've eaten in the past two hours or you might throw up.
Step 4. Don't make yourself dizzy
It is very important that there is someone with you. If you get hurt, the other person can help you or support you if you are about to fall.
Ask your parents to look at you; if they say no, there is a good reason. Do not do it
Step 5. If you feel nauseous, sit down
If your head is spinning too much and the sensation is unpleasant, sit down, lift your knees and put your arms around them. Put your head between your knees and breathe deeply.
Dizziness can be a symptom of various health problems, such as problems with blood sugar levels, vision or nerve problems and a lack of balance in the inner ear
Step 6. Never hold your breath or choke on your own to make you dizzy
A lot of kids lose their lives every year trying to choke to feel "high". Cutting off the oxygen supply to the brain is very dangerous and can cause permanent problems with the brain, heart and in the worst cases even leads to death. The sensation you get is caused by the death of the brain which lacks oxygen.
Don't let yourself be persuaded by your classmates (for example if they tell you: "you'll see that nothing will happen", or "it's a legal way to get high"). You may even die accidentally
Advice
- Remember to have fun - seeing how others react to dizziness can be hilarious.
- Turning around is perfect.
Warnings
- Do not make you dizzy just to feel "high". You could seriously damage the brain.
- Make sure you stay in very large spaces where you can safely drop. Falling on hard surfaces could hurt you a lot.
- These exercises are not recommended if you have heart problems or motion sickness.
- Turning around too much will make you nauseous and you may even throw up. Keep a garbage can handy and don't eat first.
