This article explains several ways to search for a friend on TikTok and follow their account using an Android device.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Search for a Friend by Username
Step 1. Open TikTok on your device
The app icon looks like a white musical note with red and green borders. You can find it on the Home screen or in the application menu.
Step 2. Tap the icon
bottom left.
The search screen will open on a new page.
Step 3. Tap the search bar at the top of the page
Inside, you can see a magnifying glass icon and the word "Search". By tapping it you can enter a username to perform a search.
Step 4. Type your friend's username in the search bar
As you write, users will be suggested to you.
Make sure you are in the "Users" tab on the search page. If you are in the "Sounds" or "Hashtag" tab, tap "Users" at the top left to have people suggested to you
Step 5. Tap the Follow button next to your friend's name
This button is red and is located on the right side of the screen. You will then immediately start following the account of the selected user.
If you want to see their profile first, tap their username in the results list. This will open his profile page
Method 2 of 4: Search for a Friend by QR Code
Step 1. Open TikTok on your device
