This article explains how to find your friends on TikTok. If you know a friend's username, you can search for them or scan their QR code. If you want to find all your friends you can add the Facebook ones or the contacts you have in the address book of the device you are using.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Look for a Username
Step 1. Open TikTok on your iPhone or iPad

Step 2. Click on the magnifying glass icon in the lower left to open the search screen
Step 3. Enter your username or display name, then tap Search on the keyboard
If you don't intend to search for a particular friend, try importing contacts in your address book or Facebook friends instead
Step 4. Review the results
If you've accidentally tapped another tab at the top of the page (like "Sounds" or "Hashtags"), tap the "Users" tab again.
Step 5. Search for the friend you want to follow
Step 6. Tap Follow
This pink button will change color and become gray, with the word "Follow Already".
Method 2 of 4: Scan a QR Code
Step 1. Ask your friend to search for their QR code
- To do this, open its application and click on the person icon at the bottom right.
- Tap the QR code icon in the top right, next to the three dots.
- Wait for the code to load. If your friend prefers it, they can save it to their mobile by tapping "Save QR Code".
Step 2. Click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your phone to open the search screen
Step 3. Tap the scanner icon in the top right, next to the search field
Step 4. Scan your friend's QR code from their mobile screen
Make sure you center it in the frame.
Step 5. Tap Follow next to your friend's username
Method 3 of 4: Find Contacts in the iPhone or iPad Address Book
Step 1. Open TikTok on your iPhone or iPad

Step 2. Tap the profile icon at the bottom right
Step 3. Tap the human silhouette icon flanked by the "+" sign
It is located in the upper left corner.
Step 4. Tap Find Contacts
It is located in the upper left corner. The list of your contacts who have an account on TikTok will appear.
You may be prompted to tap "Ok" to authorize the app to access your contacts
Step 5. Tap the Follow icon next to all the contacts you want to follow
Method 4 of 4: Find Facebook Friends
Step 1. Open TikTok on your iPhone or iPad

Step 3. Tap the human silhouette icon flanked by the "+" sign in the upper left corner
Step 4. Tap Find Facebook Friends
It's a blue button at the bottom of the list. A message will appear to warn you that TikTok has requested to log in to Facebook.
Step 5. Tap Continue
The Facebook login screen will open.
Step 6. Log in with your Facebook account
The list of friends who have an account on TikTok will appear.
