Although Samsung Galaxy phones are considered some of the most advanced models by users, it can happen that the camera gives problems. If the lens takes too long to focus on the image or if it takes too long to shoot after you hit the Capture key, there are some potential solutions. Causes can be software problems or excessive use of memory. If you also feel that your Samsung Galaxy's camera is too slow, you can try to fix the problem yourself before taking your mobile to an authorized service center.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Restart the Device
Step 1. Press and hold the Power button on your phone
A menu will appear.
Step 2. Hit the "Restart" option from the menu
The device will turn off and turn on again after a few seconds. Wait for the operation to complete, when the home screen appears and the upload is complete.
Step 3. Test the camera

Method 2 of 4: Change the Camera Settings
Step 1. Open the mobile phone camera
You can do this by pressing the camera icon on the home screen or in the app drawer.

Step 3. Disable "Image Stabilization"
Press the item to disable this feature.

Method 3 of 4: Clean the Cache
Step 1. Enter the Device Settings menu

Step 2. Scroll through the menu and press "Application Manager"
A list of all installed apps will appear.
Step 3. Select the Camera app
You will usually find applications in alphabetical order, so scroll to F, search for the app you are interested in, then tap on it. A new screen will open with the options Terminate, Uninstall, Delete cache and Delete data.
Step 4. Press "Clear Cache"

Method 4 of 4: Update the Operating System and Try Other Updates
Step 1. Open your device's Settings menu
Look for the app icon, which is shaped like a gear, on the home screen or in the app drawer, then press it. The mobile settings page will open.
Step 2. Scroll down the menu, then press "System Settings"
A page with all the system configuration options will open.
Step 3. Check for updates
Scroll down in System Settings and hit "About Phone". In the screen that opens, press "Check now", in order to check if new versions of the Android operating system are available.
