This article explains how to download the iTunes program produced by Apple and install it on PC and Mac. You can also download it from the App Store on iOS devices when it has been manually uninstalled, as it is one of the applications that come pre-installed with the operating system. iTunes for computers and the app for iOS devices are not the same program and have major differences in terms of functionality offered.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Computer
Step 1. Visit the following website using an internet browser
If you wish to receive updates that Apple will release regularly, type your e-mail address in the appropriate text field visible along the left side of the page
Step 2. Click the Download Now button
It is blue in color and is located on the left side of the page.
The website should automatically detect the operating system of the computer you are using. If not, scroll down the page and click on the link Get iTunes for Windows or Get iTunes for Mac.
Step 3. Click the Save button
Step 4. Locate the file you just downloaded on your computer
Step 5. Double-click the installation file
Step 6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation
You can now use iTunes on your computer.
Method 2 of 3: iPhone / iPad
Step 1. Log in to the App Store
It features a blue icon with the letter inside TO stylized white.
The iTunes Store available for iOS devices is not the same application
Step 2. Select the Search tab
It features a magnifying glass and is placed at the bottom of the screen (on iPhone) or at the top (on iPad).
Step 3. Type itunes store keywords into the search field
It is located at the top of the screen.
Step 4. Select the iTunes Store app when it appears in the search results list
Step 5. Press the Get button
It is located to the right of the iTunes Store icon.
Step 6. Press the Install button
It will appear after pressing the "Get" button in the same position as the latter. The iTunes Store app will be automatically downloaded and installed on your iOS device.
Method 3 of 3: Windows (Using the Microsoft Store)
Step 1. Go to the Microsoft Store
It features a shopping bag icon and the Windows logo. If you are using Windows 10 in "S" mode, the system will only allow the installation of apps available in the Microsoft Store.
Step 2. Type the keyword "iTunes" into the search bar
iTunes should also be visible within the list of the most downloaded apps. It features an icon depicting a musical note.
- After clicking on the iTunes icon you will be redirected to the application page where you will notice that the developer is "Apple Inc" and inside the cover image, displayed at the top of the screen, the words "Apple Music ".

Step 3. Click on the "Get" or "Install" button
The app will be downloaded automatically.
Step 4. Then follow the instructions that will appear on the screen to switch to using the iTunes app and uninstall the "iTunes for Windows" program
This step is mandatory since it is possible to have only one of the two programs in question installed on your computer. Once the installation is complete, you will be able to manage your music, iPhone contents and listen to your favorite songs directly from your Windows device.
