Does your soul feel oppressed? Has it been an eternity since you last prayed? Do you feel a little "off" on an emotional level? Well, I have the right exercise for you! Do it with a willing heart and an open mind to reap the benefits.
Steps
Step 1. Prepare a spiritual place just for you
It can be indoors, outdoors, or anywhere that makes you happy. It can be a sacred place or a corner of the garden where you can light a candle.
Step 2. Recover these items:
incense, candles, a cushion to sit on, some sage, an egg and a bowl. Sage is very important. Get some matches too. Bring a blanket to spread out if you're going to be outdoors.
Step 3. Sit in your spiritual place and light the candles and incense
Calm your mind and ask your divinity to listen and help you purify your spirit.
Step 4. Place your hands on your lap and start analyzing your body
Where is the tension concentrated? Is your heart heavy?

Step 5. Focus on yourself
What is worrying you? What is happening in your life that is hurting your spirit? It could be negative people, a traumatic experience, or just a build-up of stress. Whatever it is, focus on the emotions that come with it. Really feel them. This could make you feel uncomfortable.
Step 6. Take the egg in your right hand (while focusing on emotions) and place it on your forehead
As you focus on these emotions imagine them slowly transferring from your head to the egg. Focus and unload all negative emotions on the egg. Make sure you "transfer" them all.
Step 7. Take the egg (still visualizing all those negative thoughts in it) and squeeze it into the bowl
It gives a very satisfying feeling.
Step 8. Turn on the sage
Swirl it in the air until it is scented. Make sure you pass it around your head and heart area. Once finished, turn it off.
Step 9. Lie down
Relax your whole body. Start from your toes and focus on one part of your body at a time. Don't forget the smaller ones like the jaw and fingertips. Pretend your body is sinking into the floor by relaxing it deeply.
Step 10. Relax your mind
Empty it. Just lie in your happy place. Pretend your body melts into the earth. No tension. Your body is like butter!
Step 11. While lying down, talk to your divinity
If you don't believe in God, that's fine. Ask for a divine blessing and make your soul feel less overwhelmed.
Step 12. When you are ready, stand up
You will definitely feel lighter.
Advice
- Devote some time to your soul every day. Read something that inspires you, take a walk, pray, meditate, etc.
- Do this exercise with an open mind.
Warnings
- If you are outdoors, make sure to extinguish candles and sage immediately after your purification.
- If you feel this exercise isn't right for you, don't do it.
