This article teaches you to use the pencil tool to make drawings on images and videos before sending them on WhatsApp.
Steps
Step 1. Open WhatsApp
The icon looks like a green speech bubble containing a white telephone handset.
If another page opens, tap the "Chat" button
Step 2. Tap a conversation to open it
Step 3. Tap the camera icon next to the text field
This button is located at the bottom right, next to the box where the message is to be typed. Tapping it will open the camera.
Step 4. Tap the shutter button to take a photo or hold it down to take a video
This button looks like a white circle and is located at the bottom of the screen.
Alternatively, you can select an image from the camera roll. The list of photos saved on the device is located above the shutter button
Step 5. Tap the pencil icon at the top right
This tool allows you to draw on photos, videos and camera roll images before sending them.
Step 6. Choose a color
Tap the selector on the right and slide your finger to the color you want to use. The pencil icon will take on the selected color.
Step 7. Tap the screen and drag your finger
This way you can draw a line.
To undo a stroke, tap the curved arrow icon, located in the toolbar at the top of the screen
Step 8. Draw on the screen
Draw on the image or video using your finger. You can select a different color for each line made.
Step 9. Tap the send button
It looks like a paper airplane and is located in the lower right corner.
