If you never get your clothes dirty or stained with stains, you are certainly very lucky. For us mere mortals to which it happens often, however, it is important to find a method to eliminate those annoying stains. Unfortunately, not all detergents succeed in this arduous task!
Steps
Step 1. Don't throw away your clothing tags
On the labels it is always written how to wash the specific dress and then you will be given ideas to remove the stains from that type of garment.
Step 2. Before starting to wash, always pre-wash by hand and try to remove the stain using a sponge or something similar
Step 3. Before washing, use a stain remover pen to have a better chance of removing the stain
Step 4. For clothes like Dacron or others with a high polyester content it is best to use a dry cleaning solvent
Step 5. When washing your dress, try using a laundry detergent that contains enzymes, sadly the most expensive detergent around
Step 6. Hopefully, the stain will be gone

Here are some tips for specific types of stains:
- For grass stains: Apply toothpaste to the stain and scrub it with a toothbrush for about three minutes. Then pre-wash for about 30 minutes before washing.
- For ink stains: Apply hair spray to the stain, then wash the garment with milk for thirty minutes. Pre-wash with water and enzyme detergent. You will be surprised, the stain will be gone!
- For blood stains: wash in cold water, then in hot water as the water is safe for fabrics. If it's a colored dress, add some bleach to colored garments. If it's a white dress use your regular laundry detergent and add 1 cup of bleach to the water. It is best to wash any kind of blood-stained object alone.
