Learn how to draw a shark by following this tutorial step by step.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: First Method: Draw a Cartoon Style Shark
Step 1. Draw a circle. Below the circle, draw a line that curves to the left and ends in a cone
Step 2. Draw a pointed corner on the right side of the circle
Step 3. Draw a "fish tail" at the bottom of the design using angular shapes
Step 4. Trace the shark's fins
These are pointed and slightly curved.
Step 5. Draw the shark's nostrils and egg-shaped eyes. Add a curved line for the eyebrows
Real sharks don't have such big eyes, but in a cartoon drawing you can safely indulge your imagination.
Step 6. Draw the shark's mouth
Sharks are famous for their sharp teeth, so you can use triangles to make them.
Step 7. Following the guidelines, draw the shark's body
Step 8. Review the tail and fins
Step 9. To make the gills, use three curved lines
For a cartoon shark, you can mark the split between the upper and lower body with a sharp line.
Step 10. Delete unnecessary lines
Step 11. Color the drawing
Method 2 of 2: Second Method: Draw a Simple Shark
Step 1. Draw a triangle with one of the vertices pointing to the right. Stretch the triangle using two not quite straight lines horizontally, and at the end draw a line vertically. On the left of the drawing, make a curved triangle pointing down
Step 2. Draw the shark's fins with triangles
A shark is equipped with pectoral, dorsal and anal fins.
Step 3. Add the tail with two opposite slender corners
Step 4. Draw the head of the shark following the guide. Add eyes, nostrils and mouth
Step 5. Review the fin and tail lines
Step 6. Review the contour lines of the body following those guides
Step 7. On the side of the shark make five lines for the gills
Divide the back of the body from the front with color. The back is usually darker. Along the parting line use angled pencil strokes.
