Steps
Method 1 of 2: Draw a Cartoon Style Horse
Step 1. Draw a large circle with a cross inside. On the bottom of this circle, draw another smaller one
Step 2. On either side of the top of the larger circle, draw an outward sloping diamond shape
Step 3. Draw a large oval that is slightly perpendicular to the large circle
Step 4. Add four legs attached to the oval, to outline the horse's body
Step 5. On the horse's hindquarters, draw the tail
Step 6. Make the horse's mane with smooth, curved lines
Step 7. Using the cross as a guide, draw the eyes, nose and mouth
Step 8. To make the snout look protruding, draw two curved lines joined to the small circle
Step 9. Review the contours of the body and add details such as hooves to the horse's legs
Step 10. Delete unnecessary lines
Step 11. Color the drawing
Method 2 of 2: Draw a Horse (Head)
Step 1. Draw two oblique circles to each other. The one below should be smaller than the one above. Connect the two circles with a rectangle
Step 2. Draw a curved line joining the two circles sideways. Trace the horse's neck
Step 3. At the top of the head make the ears
Step 4. Following the guide shapes you drew earlier, draw the horse's face
Step 5. Make the almond eyes and add the nose
Step 6. Draw the horse's mane with lots of scattered curved lines
Step 7. For a more detailed look, make very short, light pencil strokes in the areas that should be in shadow
