Some recipes call for peeled and seedless cucumbers. First you need to remove the seeds, so that the skin keeps the pulp compact. Then you can proceed with the peeling.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Remove the Seeds from a Cucumber Half
Use a spoon to scrape the seeds off a cucumber half. You can cut off the ends or leave them intact, depending on the recipe.

Step 1. Wash the cucumber under cold running water

Step 2. Place the cucumber on the cutting board and cut it in half lengthwise

Step 3. Separate the seeds from the pulp with a spoon

Step 4. Eliminate the seeds
Method 2 of 3: Remove the seeds from a quarter of a cucumber
When you have a cucumber cut in quarters, you can remove the seeds simply with a knife.

Step 1. Wash the cucumber in cold water

Step 2. Place the cucumber on the cutting board and cut it in half lengthwise

Step 3. Take one half of the cucumber and place it on the cutting board, pulp side down

Step 4. Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise again, resulting in two quarters

Step 5. Take a quarter of a cucumber and place it on the cutting board
The pulp must be in contact with the cutting board, and the part with the seeds facing the hand with which you are waving the knife.

Step 6. Place the knife over the seeds and cut diagonally downwards

Step 7. Remove and discard the seeds
Repeat this for all remaining quarters.
Method 3 of 3: Peel a Cucumber
Use a peeler or potato peeler to help you with this.

Step 1. Cut both ends of the cucumber

Step 2. Cut in half or in quarters and remove the seeds

Step 3. Take the cucumber with your non-dominant hand (the one you don't write with)
Grab the knife with your dominant hand and place the blade on the end closest to you. Point the blade away from your body.

Step 4. Cut the peel with long strokes, taking care not to cut too deep into the pulp
Always cut away from your body, moving the blade away from you.

Step 5. Repeat this until you have removed all the peel
Advice
- Combine green onions and peeled, seedless cucumbers. Add salt and pepper to make a great white gazpacho soup.
- Mix peeled and seeded cucumbers with a tropical fruit salad for even more crunch without altering the flavor.
