This guide explains how to get infinite experience points in the original version of Skyrim, using the Oghma Infinium glitch. This trick was removed in patch 1.9, so it is not usable in all Skyrim versions after 1.8, including the Special Edition released in 2017.

Part 1 of 2: Getting the Oghma Infinium

Step 1. First, you have to meet the prerequisites

To get the Oghma Infinium, a book that allows you to level up a range of skills by 5 levels, you must have reached at least level 15 and you must have completed the "Throat of the World" mission, which is part of the main story.

Once the conversation with Paarthurnax in High Hrothgar is complete, the quests "Transcendental Discernment" and "Ancient Knowledge" will become available

Step 2. Reach the Septimus Signus outpost

Step 8. Go back to Septimus and talk to him
