If in anger you have sent a direct message that you regret, you risk suffering consequences. This article explains how to delete a message sent to Discord via computer.
Steps
Step 1. Visit https://www.discordapp.com using any browser, such as Chrome or Safari
If you are not logged in, click on "Log in" at the top right. Enter your username and password, then click on "Login"
Step 2. Click on Friends
It is located under the search bar, top left.
Step 3. Click on All
It is located at the top of the screen, towards the center.
Step 4. Select a direct message
They will all appear under the "Friends" icon, with the heading "Direct Messages".
Step 5. Hover the mouse cursor over the message you want to delete
The following symbol should appear to the right of the message: ⁝.
You can only delete messages you have sent
Step 6. Click on ⁝
A drop-down menu will appear.
Step 7. Click Cancel
A confirmation window will appear.
Step 8. Click Cancel to confirm
The message will be removed from the conversation.
