Sometimes it is necessary to do some cleaning between the direct messages you receive on your Twitter profile. You can delete this type of content quickly and simply as you delete your 'tweets'. This tutorial shows you how.
Steps
Step 1. Launch your internet browser
Step 2. Log in to the Twitter website
Step 3. Log in to your profile
Step 4. Select the gear icon located at the top right of the page
Step 5. Select the 'Direct Messages' option
Step 6. Select the name of the conversation where the messages you want to delete reside
Step 7. Move the mouse pointer over the message you wish to delete
A trash can icon will appear on the left or right of the message, depending on the space available.
Step 8. Select the trash can icon
Step 9. Look at the bottom of the page, a confirmation message should appear to be able to continue deleting from the selected item
Step 10. Press the 'Delete Message' button

- When you delete a direct message, it is also deleted from the recipient's mailbox you sent it to.
