Many people use Pinterest to communicate with friends and family. They can show pictures of their friends, their children, memes and anything else. It is also a great place to find new friends. Also, many people like to link accounts from other social networks, so they can share pictures with more people. To connect other social networks to your account, read on. You can do it from your desktop or laptop or even from your smartphone!
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Connect via Computer
Step 1. Log into Pinterest
Enter your username and password on www.pinterest.com. If you don't have an account, you'll need to create a new one. It takes a few minutes.
Step 2. Go to “Settings”
Click on the profile tab in the upper right corner of the screen and go to Settings.
Step 3. Go to “Social Network”
Scroll down until you see the "Social Network" section. There will be sliders next to each social network that says "Yes / No". If you want to link the account, move the slide to "Yes".
Step 4. Link your account
Once you have moved the slide to "Yes", a pop up window will appear.
- Enter username and password for the social network you are trying to connect to.
- Click on the blue "Accept" button at the bottom of the window. You are now connected!
- The social networks you can connect to are Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Gmail and Yahoo mail. You can connect to as many as you want.
Method 2 of 2: Connect via Smartphone
Step 1. Open the Pinterest app
Make sure you have the Pinterest app on your mobile device. You can easily find it on Google Play if you use Android or on the App Store if you have an iOS device.
Step 2. Log into Pinterest
Enter your username and password.
Step 3. Go to “Settings”
Once on the main Pinterest screen, click the Menu button on your phone and select the "Account Settings" button. A new screen will open.
Step 4. Choose your social network
From this screen, scroll down until you find the phrases "Login with Facebook", "Login with Google" and "Login with Twitter". Select the social networks you want to use: a new screen will appear.
Step 5. Link your account
On the new screen, enter your username and password and tap the "Authorize" button to connect. Yes, it really is that simple!
