The Jambox is a lightweight speaker manufactured by the Jawbone company. It was designed for Bluetooth-enabled devices and is appreciated for its portability. You can connect the Jambox, Mini Jambox and Big Jambox with your iPhone or any stereo system. Just follow these simple instructions.
Steps
Part 1 of 3: Load Your Jambox
Step 1. Plug your Jambox into the wall
The supplied charger plugs into a 2-prong wall socket.
Step 2. You can connect the Jambox directly to your computer to charge it
Or you can connect a micro USB cable to your Jambox. Plug the other end into the USB port.
Make sure you don't connect the micro USB cable to the keyboard. In fact, if connected to a computer accessory, the device does not charge
Step 3. Wait for the white LED light on the side of the Jambox to flash
Then, it will flash red until it is charged. It takes about 2.5 hours to fully recharge the Jambox.
Step 4. Unplug the charger when charging is complete
Part 2 of 3: Activating Jambox Pairing Mode
Step 1. Press and hold the button on the side of the Jambox upwards for 3 seconds
Step 2. Wait for the audio message to activate the Jambox pairing mode
The LED light should flash red and white.
Step 3. Move the power button to the center position
There is in fact an upper, central and lower position.
Part 3 of 3: Connecting the iPhone
Step 1. Place your iPhone about 11 meters from the Jambox
At this distance it should be able to mate.
Step 2. Turn on the iPhone
Go to the Home screen. Select the Settings app.
Step 3. Look for the word "Bluetooth" at the top of the settings list
Click on it.
Step 4. Move the Bluetooth radio button to on, if it is off
Give it a few seconds to search for devices.
Step 5. Look for "Jambox by Jawbone" in the list of available devices
Click on it.
Step 6. Enter the generic code 0000. Your Jambox and iPhone should now be connected.
