This wikiHow teaches you how to create a photo or video slideshow to share on TikTok using an Android device, iPhone or iPad.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Create a Video Presentation
Step 1. Open TikTok on your mobile or tablet
The icon looks like a white musical note with green and fuchsia borders on a black background. It is generally found on the Home screen, in the application list or by writing its name in the search bar.
Step 2. Press the + button at the bottom of the screen (in the middle)
Step 3. Tap the Upload icon
It looks like a square and is located in the lower right corner of the screen.
Step 4. Tap More than one
This option is located in the lower left corner. Look for the icon depicted by two overlapping rectangles.
Step 5. Select the videos you want to add to the slideshow
Press the empty circle in the upper right corner of each video thumbnail you want to add. Make sure you select each video in the order you prefer it to appear within the presentation.
Step 6. Press Ok in the upper right corner of the screen
Step 7. Trim the videos (optional)
To change the length of a clip, tap the thumbnail at the bottom of the screen, then drag the red bar on either side of the video until you get the desired result. You can repeat the process with each clip you want to edit.
You can also trim clips to sync with the music. In this case, tap the Sync Sound button
Step 8. Press the Next button
This red button is located in the upper right corner. The clips will then be merged into a single slide show that you can make changes to.
Step 9. Add stickers and effects (optional), then click Next
You can use TikTok's tools to add some extra flair to your presentation. Once you're done, tap the red Next button in the bottom right corner.
- Tap the musical note to change the song;
- Tap the timer icon to add transition effects;
- Tap the "A" to add text;
- Tap the three circles icon to select a filter;
- Tap the raised smiley face in the corner to add stickers and emojis.
Step 10. Select your publishing preferences and click Publish
If you want to add a caption, decide who can view the video or allow comments, you can do so here. Then, tap the red Publish button in the lower right corner of the screen to share the presentation.
Method 2 of 3: Create a Photo Slideshow Using a Preset Template
Step 1. Open TikTok on your device

Step 2. Press the + button at the bottom of the screen (in the middle)
Step 3. Open the "MV" tab
It is located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4. Swipe your finger across the screen to see the different templates available
When you find one you like, tap the "Select Photos" button.
Step 5. Select the photos you want to add to the slideshow
Tap the empty circle in the upper right corner of each thumbnail of the photos you want to add. Make sure you select them in the order you want them to appear in your presentation.
To be able to use a template, make sure you upload a number of photos that respect the minimum and maximum limit set by the selected template
Step 6. Click Ok in the upper right corner of the screen
Step 7. Add stickers and effects (optional), then tap Next
You can use the tools provided by TikTok to give an extra touch of style to the presentation. Once you're done, tap on the red Next button, located in the bottom right corner.

Method 3 of 3: Create a Classic Photo Slide Show
Step 1. Open TikTok on your device

It is located at the bottom of the screen (in the middle).
Step 3. Press the Upload icon
It is represented by a square and is located in the lower right corner of the screen.
Step 4. Tap on Image at the top of the screen
Once you have selected this tab, a bar will appear under the word "Image".
Step 5. Select the photos you want to add to the slideshow
Tap the empty circle in the upper right corner of each image you want to add. Make sure you select each photo in the order you want it to appear in your slideshow. You can upload up to 12 images.
Step 6. Click on the Next button
This button is located in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 7. Add stickers and effects (optional) and tap Next
You can use TikTok's tools to add some extra flair to your presentation. When you're done, tap the red Next button, located in the bottom right corner.
- Tap the musical note to change the song;
- Tap the three circles icon to select filters and change the lighting;
- Tap the "Horizontal / Vertical" button to change the orientation of the presentation.
Step 8. Select your publishing preferences and click Publish
