On Snapchat, in addition to the stories posted by your friends, there are two ways to view the public ones. The first, Discover, is a curated selection of news and entertainment from popular sources. The other is Live, which offers news, multimedia content and snaps from live events, posted by other users of the platform. You can find Discover and Live stories within the app, in the Stories section.

- To post an event snapshot to the corresponding Live Story, normally press the "Send" button after taking the photo. Instead of selecting "My Story", choose the one related to the event.
