Instagram is a social application that allows you to capture images, edit them with preset filters and share them with your followers. Steps
Method 1 of 2: Create a slideshow using Flipagram
Step 1. Download Flipagram
The basic version of this application is free and you can get it through the iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store.
Step 2. Run Flipagram on your device
Once the download is complete, launch the application. A welcome notification will appear. Click on "Yes" or "No" according to your desire to receive notifications or not.
Step 3. Log in with your Instagram account
This will allow you to access the photos you have uploaded to Instagram.
Step 4. Press "Start" to create a new presentation
You will be prompted to choose the files to add.
Step 5. Select the source for the photos
You can choose whether to take them from Instagram or from those stored on your device.
Step 6. Tap each photo you want to add
Keep in mind that Instagram only supports video clips of up to 15 seconds.
Step 7. Tap the button located in the upper right corner after selecting the images
This will show a list of all the images you have selected. If you have chosen Instagram as the source, the images will be downloaded.
The download will take a few seconds, depending on how many photos you have selected
Step 8. Tap the "+ Add" button to add photos from another source
This will allow you to add more photos, such as those from a different source than the one you originally chose.
Step 9. Tap a photo and press the "Edit" button to edit an image
The "Edit" button is located on the right side of the "+ Add" button.
- Double tap on a photo to crop
- Touch and hold to drag and drop photos to change their order
- Tap Photos to select other actions
- Duplicate photos to emphasize special moments on your Flipagram
Step 10. Tap the "Continue" button in the upper right corner when you are done with the changes
Click on the arrow located in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 11. Add some music from your files
The best way to make a slideshow enjoyable is to add background music. Click on the "Add Music" button, located at the bottom of the preview.
- Click on "Choose Music Track" if you want to add the music saved on the local disk.
- Choose "Sound Recorder" if you want to add narration or your own voice.
- If you don't have music on your device, you can download it by selecting "Find Music".
Step 12. Select the duration of the slide show
Remember not to exceed 15 seconds, otherwise Instagram will cut it. Keep below the recommended time.
Step 13. Add a title
The title is the text that will appear at the beginning of the presentation.
Choose from fonts and color to change the style of the text to make it more attractive
Step 14. Preview the presentation
It is advisable to review the slideshow before finalizing it, to make sure you have not overlooked anything.
Step 15. Finalize the Flipagram
If you are satisfied with the presentation, click on the check button at the top right of the screen.
- A message will appear saying "Are you ready to finalize your Flipagram?" - press "Yes" to create it.
- Flipagram will start processing the images and audio for the presentation.
Step 16. Share the presentation on Instagram
Once the presentation has been created, it will be possible to show it to your followers by pressing the share button and clicking on Instagram.
- Choose the start and end point of the video
- Add a filter if you want
- Choose your cover
- Add a description, location, or share it outside of Instagram
- Wait for Instagram to load the presentation; it may take longer than adding a photo. Are you done.
Method 2 of 2: Using Movie Studio
Step 1. Download Movie Studio
You can download this application from the Google Play Store.
Step 2. Run Movie Studio on your device
Open the application once the download is complete.
Step 3. Create a new project
Movie Studio has two features: you can create a video slideshow or a photo slideshow. Click on "Create new project" at the bottom of the screen or on the film icon at the top right of the screen.
Step 4. Name the project
Any name is fine.
Step 5. Add multiple images or videos
Now is the time to do it.
- Import the images by pressing the "+" button at the top right.
- To add a video, click on the "+" button in the center of the screen.
- You can also add a video by recording it or add images using the camera.
- If you already have the images or videos saved in your gallery, choose "Import photos / videos".
- Select the gallery folder where the images or videos are located.
- Choose the photo or video.
- Add images or videos by importing them into your gallery.
Step 6. Add effects
To spice up the slideshow, add transition effects to each photo or video.
- Select the images or videos on the timeline. New options will appear at the top of the screen.
- Click on FX.
- You can change the tone effect by choosing from Gradient, Sepia or Negative.
- Choose the in-clip or out-clip transition from the available effects.
Step 7. Add a title
This is the text to be included in the presentation images / videos.
- Edit the text template
- Add a subtitle
Step 8. Add an audio track
Presentations are much better to watch when they have music.
- Click on the "Add Audio" icon at the bottom center of the screen.
- Choose whether to record sounds or take a music file.
- Select the music you want to add and click "OK". The audio will be automatically cut at the end of the presentation or video.
- Change the audio volume by selecting the track.
Step 9. View the presentation
Play the video before saving it.
- Make sure your video is no longer than 15 seconds, otherwise Instagram will cut it.
- Trim the video to decrease its length if it is longer than 15 seconds.
Step 10. Save the presentation
The presentation will be saved in MP4 format.
Step 11. Open Instagram and load the saved presentation
To upload your presentation, click on the camera icon, then select the video button.
- Select the gallery icon at the bottom left of the screen.
- Choose the presentation from the folder.
- Choose the start and end point of the video.
- Add a filter if you want.
- Choose the cover.
- Add a description, location, or share it outside of Instagram.
Advice
- Instagram only allows 15 seconds of video. Make sure the slideshows you create are 15 seconds or less, or Instagram will cut them.
- You can buy the Premium version of Flipagram, which costs around 2 €. This will allow you to add or remove the "Flipagram" branding.
- Movie studio not only allows you to add multiple photos, but also videos.
