This article explains how to copy the link of a Facebook publication using the clipboard of an Android device. This operation does not allow you to copy the direct link of the video. Instead, it copies the link of the post that contains the movie in question.
Steps
Step 1. Open the Facebook application on the Android device
The icon is represented by a white "f" on a blue background. You can find it in the application menu.
Step 2. Search for the post with the video you want to copy
You can copy a video link from a post in the "News" section, in your own profile or in another user's profile.
You can also tap the icon that looks like a TV screen with a play button inside it to see the latest Facebook videos in your "News" section
Step 3. Tap the three dots icon ••• at the top right of the post
This button is located in the upper right corner of the publication. The various options available will be displayed in a pop-up menu.
If the video you want to copy is in a post shared by someone else, click on post to access the original publication and copy the link from there
Step 4. Press Copy link in the pop-up menu
This option is located next to the chain icon at the bottom of the menu. It will allow you to copy the direct URL of the selected video to the clipboard.
Step 5. Paste the link into a text field to share it
Touch and hold the mobile screen where you want to paste the URL.
- This link can be pasted anywhere and the video can be shared with your contacts outside of Facebook, as long as it is copied from a public page. Your contacts will be able to see it using the Facebook application or a browser.
- Consider one thing: If you share a link to a post posted by a friend of yours, people who have not befriended this user may not be able to see the video.
