This wikiHow teaches you how to delete movies, TV series and shows from Netflix history named "Content Viewing Activity". Since this feature is based on a web service, you will need to use your computer and an internet browser to be able to edit the history of the content you have watched through Netflix.
Steps
Step 1. Go to the Netflix website
Paste the URL https://www.netflix.com into the address bar of the internet browser. If you are already logged in with your account, you will be redirected to the profile selection page.
If you are not logged in yet, click on the button Log in located in the upper right corner of the page and enter your e-mail address and security password.
Step 2. Select the profile to use
Click on the icon or name of your Netflix user profile.
If there is only one user profile linked to your account, you can skip this step
Step 3. Select the profile icon
Place the mouse on the icon located in the upper right corner of the page. A drop-down menu will appear.
Step 4. Click on the Account item
It is one of the options listed in the menu that appeared. The account settings page will appear.
Step 5. Scroll down the menu and click on the Content Viewing Activity option
It is located in the "My Profile" section.
Step 6. Find the movie or episode of the TV show you want to delete from the history
Scroll through the appearing list of contents until you find the program you want to remove.
To view the oldest entries in your history, scroll down the page to the bottom and click on the link Show more.
Step 7. Click the "Delete" icon
It has a circular shape and the symbol "/" (slash) is visible inside. It is placed on the right of the title of the content to be deleted. The selected item will be removed from the list immediately. Having performed this step, you will no longer be sent updates and recommendations based on the type of movie or TV show you deleted from your history.

If you need to delete an entire TV series from the history, click the link Hide series?
placed inside the notification message that will appear after clicking on the "Delete" icon of one of the episodes.
- It could take up to 24 hours for the changes to take effect and to be synchronized from the web to other devices (e.g. smartphones, tablets, consoles, smart TVs, etc.).
Advice
Technically, it is possible to delete the contents of the Netflix "Content viewing activity" section using a smartphone or tablet: access the Netflix website using the internet browser of the device and log in with your account
Warnings
- You cannot delete a movie or show from the "Content Viewing Activity" log without accessing the Netflix website using an internet browser.
- If you are using a "Kids" Netflix profile, you will not be able to hide movies and shows from the "Content Viewing Activity" log.
