Some smoking games are the hallmark of an elegant smoker. Regardless of what you like to smoke, you can learn a couple of tricks to enjoy spending time and surprise your friends. All the games described in this tutorial need some practice and practice, preferably in front of the mirror, but in a short time you will be able to master them.
Steps
Method 1 of 5: Producing a Dense Smoke
Step 1. Practice in a room where there is little air circulation
On windy days you won't be able to do this trick, even if you were the best "smoke magician". You need to be sure that the outside airflow is kept to a minimum, so don't stay near the fans, close the windows and choose a quiet room without drafts.
Step 2. Practice holding the smoke in your mouth
The smoke will begin to dissipate in the lungs becoming sparse and less dense. Take short inhalations, puffing out your cheeks slightly and trying to hold the smoke in your mouth. Try doing three or four partial aspirations instead of one big, deep inhale from your cigarette or hookah.
You should feel smoke dripping down your throat, especially if you've taken several short breaths
Step 3. Breathe out slowly
In this way, the smoke molecules remain more compressed together, creating a dense and dense cloud. Try to emit a controlled stream of smoke by letting it come out of your mouth on its own, without forcing it.
Step 4. Choose carefully what to smoke
The "rolled" media such as cigarettes, joints or cigars create a denser smoke because, in addition to the substance, the paper is also burned. E-cigarettes have a high vapor content and are great for this trick. However, the best tool remains the hookah, because the glycerin contained in the shisha mixture is essential for making very dense clouds.
Water pipes guarantee poor results and are difficult to use for this purpose
Method 2 of 5: Double Inhalation
Step 1. Inhale the smoke by holding it in your mouth
These tricks are more spectacular and work better if you don't breathe smoke into your lungs.
Step 2. Open your mouth and slowly exhale
You must make sure that the smoke does not go too far from the mouth; for this reason, open it only halfway and slowly exhale for a second or two.
By doing so, you let the smoke come out on its own; you can also tilt your head back to facilitate the process
Step 3. Draw the smoke back into your mouth
When a stable cloud has formed 5-10cm from your face, suck it up quickly. To fully "capture" the smoke you will need to move your head towards it. Try to keep your lips slightly closed, so you will have more sucking power and have less difficulty.
Step 4. Try a "snap inhalation" once you have mastered the basic trick
The technique is basically the same: you have to let the smoke come out of your mouth and then suck it in quickly with a sudden more impressive snap. Here's how to proceed:
- Draw in the smoke for 2-3 seconds by holding it in your mouth.
- Curl your tongue back and place it on your palate without opening your lips.
- As you open your mouth, flick your tongue forward to force the smoke out in a quick cloud.
- Quickly purses your lips, as if you were whistling, to suck up the smoke.
Method 3 of 5: French Inhalation or Cascade
Step 1. Inhale the smoke for 2-3 seconds and hold it in your mouth
To make this trick easier, puff up your cheeks slightly and make sure the smoke doesn't go into your lungs. The greater the amount you can hold, the more spectacular the makeup will be.
Step 2. Push your lower lip forward, so that your mouth opens
Maintain this position, just as if you have a protruding jaw. The smoke must come out of the mouth in a cloud that rises upwards.
Step 3. Inhale slowly through the nose
As the smoke rises from your lower lip, inhale as slowly as possible through your nose. By doing this you create a "reverse waterfall" that passes over the upper lip and enters the nostrils.
Step 4. Adapt the French inhalation to other tricks
You can make rings from the mouth and vacuum them from the nose. Or you can try the "French ghost" trick by releasing small puffs of smoke from your mouth and then sucking them in from your nostrils. The French inhalation, in practice, consists in using both the nose and the mouth to perform smoke games.
Step 5. Try the "ghost face"
You will need some patience to succeed in this trick. To make this happen, you have to deeply inhale a lot of smoke. At this point you can open your mouth, as with French inhalation, exhaling slightly and slowly. Remember to push your lip and lower jaw forward to force the smoke to rise. You must be able to breathe in enough smoke to be able to obscure your face behind a dense and "ghostly" cloud.
Method 4 of 5: Smoke Rings
Step 1. Take a puff of smoke
It will be necessary to inhale deeply and for a long time, without however sending the smoke into the lungs.
Step 2. Open your mouth by creating an "O" with your lips
You don't have to curl them, but open them naturally, as if you were saying "Oh". Some people get better results by pulling their lips lightly towards their teeth; however, the most important thing is to keep a rounded shape.
Step 3. Push the smoke out of your mouth with quick puffs
This is the hardest part of the trick, because you have to be in control of your breath to do it. There are three techniques to practice this game, each with slightly different results:
- Try short, quick exhalations. You will have to practice a little until you are able to perceive a sensation similar to a "hiccup in reverse". The hiccup is nothing more than a quick, short and sudden inhalation and you will have to try to recreate the same mechanism. However, in this case, you need to exhale instead of inhale. Imagine having to make the sound "Huh, Huh, Huh".
- Put your tongue behind the hole created by the lips and "tap" the smoke. This is the best way to create rings that go very far, but will be weak and not very dense.
- Try the tapping method. Bring your lips outward so that your cheeks are slightly concave (curving inward into your mouth). Tap your cheek with your finger hard enough to release ring-shaped clouds of smoke. This technique allows you to create a lot of rings.
Step 4. Practice positioning your mouth differently to create rings of different shapes
The conformation of the lips, together with the force with which you exhale, changes the size and duration of the rings. Practice is the best way to learn this trick, as each individual's mouth is different and there is no universally valid method.
The hookah produces a thick smoke that lasts a long time and is the best tool for exercising
Step 5. Make heart-shaped rings
This tender variation is achieved by changing the speed at which you emit normal rings. After creating a ring, quickly move the air above it at 2.5-5 cm. With the rapid movement of the air you will get a notch in the ring recreating the classic heart.
Method 5 of 5: Smoke Bubbles
Step 1. In a dish, mix dish soap with water
The higher the soap concentration, the better the result. This is the classic mixture for making bubbles, so it must be liquid but very soapy.
Start with 120ml of water and a two-second spray of soap; later you can change the aspect ratio according to your needs
Step 2. Dip the tip of a large straw into the solution
The operation is very similar to dipping the stick to make children's bubbles. As you inhale the smoke, leave the tip of the straw in the soapy water.
Step 3. Draw in a lot of smoke
Try to inhale as much as possible from your source for smoking. The greater the amount of smoke, the larger the bubble.
Step 4. Breathe out the smoke through the dry end of the straw
Try to do this slowly and in a controlled manner to create a bubble that doesn't burst. When you are done, pull off the straw to close the bubble.
Do not vacuum while you have the straw between your lips, otherwise you risk inhaling some soap
Advice
- It is easier to do these tricks if you smoke a hookah, with the other smoking tools you will have to modify your technique.
- If you bounce a cigarette vertically, you should create smoke rings.
