Toon Link is the Wind Waker version of Link. It is smaller and faster than the original. If you are wondering how to unlock it, read on!
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Option One
Step 1. Complete 400 Brawl Challenges
Toon Link will then challenge you.
Step 2. Defeat Toon Link, and he will join your team
Method 2 of 3: Option Two
Step 1. Complete the Subspace Emissary
Step 2. Complete Classic Mode with Link, Zelda, or any other character
Toon Link will then challenge you to a stage called "Great Sea".
Step 3. Defeat Toon Link, and he will join your team
Method 3 of 3: Option Three
Step 1. Complete the Subspace Emissary
Step 2. Go to the Forest Stage in the Subspace Emissary
There will be a door that wasn't there before.
Step 3. Log in
Toon Link will challenge you.
Step 4. Defeat him and he will join your team
Advice
- Choose Easy mode to make it easier to defeat Toon Link.
- Be prepared if you use this method, because you will have to beat it using Link. If you feel like waiting, you can win 400 normal challenges.
- When you unlock Toon Link, you will also unlock Stage: Great Sea.
