Customers often think that waiters are good for nothing and slackers, even if many of them are graduates or have advanced studies behind them. If you write the order, the customer will know that everything they asked for will arrive at the table. Even if you just want a house salad with a simple dressing, pretend you're writing the order. Write something down or scribble in your notebook (you can even write an insult to let off steam), so she can see that you are doing your job diligently.
Step 5. Never disagree with the customer
The customer is always right and can never be wrong or wrong: it is simply impossible. If he tells you he had to wait 45 minutes before he could eat, but you know he only waited 18 minutes because you can check it on the computer, nod, smile and don't argue. Apologize for the inconvenience and maybe offer him a dessert.
Step 6. Don't touch the customers
You must not do this under any circumstances. While some studies show that gently tapping the customer on the shoulder when you give them change and thanking them will get you a slightly larger tip, never do it. Nowadays, someone may misunderstand and believe that your gesture is completely inappropriate.
On the other hand, if a customer touches you, don't mind it, as long as it doesn't bother you. Smile and ask politely what she wants. If the customer realizes that you are embarrassed because a perfect acquaintance has invaded your personal space, they may be offended and not tip you, which is not ideal. Step 7. Remember that tips are subjective
