Argan oil has a wide range of uses, including in the kitchen and to produce cosmetics. These uses have their own production and commercial channels, however argan oil is produced in only one way (by hand) and is basically composed of fatty acids and tocopherols, which promote scarring inside and outside the body if the product is used regularly.
Steps
Method 1 of 5: Cleanse and Moisturize the Face with Argan Oil
Step 1. Cleanse the skin twice with argan oil, then with your usual facial cleanser
Cleansing twice is a method that produces brilliant results: first clean with an oil, then with your regular facial cleanser, maximizing the benefits of each on the skin.
- Apply four drops of argan oil to your face and gently rub in circular motions of your fingertips. Massage for 60 seconds and clean with a disposable face wipe. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
- Wash your face a second time with your favorite facial cleanser, rinse well and pat dry.
Step 2. Use it as a tonic
Add a few drops of argan oil to your favorite face tonic, taking care to shake vigorously to emulsify before using. Spray as you usually do.
Step 3. Use it as a moisturizer and add it to your make-up
Argan oil is a "dry oil", and is easily absorbed by the skin, so it gives a radiant complexion to those who use it to moisturize.
Add a pinch of argan oil to the usual amount of face moisturizer, sunscreen or liquid foundation, mix with your fingertips and apply to the face as you usually do
Step 4. Use it after shaving
Instead of an alcohol-based aftershave, use a drop of argan oil to moisturize and soothe freshly shaved skin on the face and other parts of the body.
- Apply a damp, warm towel to your face, legs, or armpits to keep pores open.
- Warm a drop (or a few) between your fingertips and gently massage the skin.
Step 5. Use it as a night moisturizer
Moisturizing at night with argan oil has a marked restorative effect, giving the skin a healthy appearance, especially over time.
- Apply argan to your face before going to bed.
- Cover the argan oil treatment applied to the face with a regular night cream once the skin has absorbed the oil.
Step 6. Use it as a mask
Face masks can be even more regenerating by adding a small amount of argan oil.
- Add a few drops to your usual face mask.
- Apply the mask containing the argan oil according to the instructions.
Step 7. Use it as a lip balm to protect your lips
Use argan oil to treat lips, especially when they are cracked or cracked.
- Rub 2-3 drops on your lips and wipe off the excess.
- Apply regularly to keep lips conditioned and prevent chapping in winter.
Method 2 of 5: Moisturize your hair with Argan Oil
Step 1. Use it as a conditioner while your hair is still damp
This operation promotes scalp health and hair growth, while healing and preventing split ends.
Rub a few drops of argan oil between your palms and then run your hands and fingers through your hair gently, massaging the scalp and the tips as well
Step 2. Use it to refresh your hair and hairstyle
Argan oil can soften and strengthen hair, if used appropriately. You can also use it to control a hairstyle that is losing its shine or shape.
Simply apply a few drops to your hair like you would a leave-in conditioner, but do it when your hair is dry, not damp
Step 3. Use it as an overnight hair mask
Leaving the argan oil overnight as if it were a hair mask helps to maximize its benefits, giving it more time to absorb nutrients.
- Spread a generous amount of argan oil and scrub your hair, tips and scalp.
- Cover your head with a towel to protect the sheets, then go to sleep to soak the oil overnight, or leave it for a few hours.
- Remove the oil from your hair by washing it with a regular shampoo.
Method 3 of 5: Moisturize the body with Argan oil
Step 1. Spread it on the dry areas of the body
Elbows, knees, feet and heels tend to become dehydrated. Argan oil can help moisturize these areas more effectively than traditional moisturizers.
Step 2. Moisturize the cuticles of the hands and feet
The cuticles on the tips of the fingers and toes can be moisturized with argan oil. Use a few drops to massage them and make them softer. Used in this way, argan oil can also stimulate nail growth.
Step 3. Use it on the skin after bathing
Warm a few drops in your hands and apply them to the skin that is still damp. Wrap yourself in a towel or bathrobe until the argan oil is absorbed.
You can also add a few drops to your favorite body lotion to increase its effectiveness
Method 4 of 5: Exfoliate with Argan Oil
Step 1. Do a simple exfoliating treatment with argan oil
Treatment can help remove dead skin cells and rejuvenate it.
Step 2. Combine a few drops of argan oil with a few drops of vanilla extract and brown sugar
The sugar crystals act as the rough element to exfoliate, rubbing gently.
Step 3. Apply this combination to the skin and work in a light circular motion
You can feel how the mixture works when you rub it into your skin.
Step 4. Continue until the skin is slightly exfoliated, smooth and hydrated
Exfoliation will leave the skin nourished and clean.
Step 5. Rinse with water
Rinse the treated area and you will be able to see and feel the exfoliating and moisturizing benefits.
Method 5 of 5: Restoring the Skin to Health with Argan Oil
Step 1. Apply argan oil to wrinkles to moisturize the skin and reduce them
The effects of aging can be reduced with constant use. Just rub the oil into the area and you will see improvement over time.
Step 2. Treat damaged skin with argan oil
Rub it periodically on broken skin to reduce scarring. Make sure the oil is pure.
Step 3. Use it to treat stretch marks
Abundant application to areas where you have stretch marks can dramatically improve their appearance.
