The Byakugan is one of the Doujutsu (eye abilities) described in the "Naruto" manga series. It literally means "white eye" and gives the character an almost 360 ° view; it also allows you to point objects and see the flow of the chakras in their circulatory system. Only members of the Hyuga clan can use it, for example the characters of Neji and Hinata.
Steps
Step 1. Draw the eye of a member of the Hyuga clan
Generally, it has an elongated shape with the upper line curved in the center and the lower rim rather straight.
Step 2. Trace the iris
It is large and takes up almost the entire space of the eyeball. Draw a circle between the upper and lower lines to define the eye, but don't draw over the lids; it should look like two short convex and vertical lines, almost like an incomplete circle.
Step 3. Draw the pupil
Draw a small circle in the center so that it is concentric with the iris. Make a dotted line and do not color the pupil in the center; Hyuga clan members do not have a normal pupil, and when they use the Byakugan ability, it becomes almost invisible.
Step 4. Draw a circle around the "pupil"
It should be in the midpoint between the edge of the pupil and that of the iris; it should be made up of very thin, short lines that fan out from the pupil.
Step 5. Add dilated veins around the eyes and near the temples
They are a pair of thin and parallel lines that usually start from the eye; make them branch out just like real veins.
Advice
- If you can't get the design right on the first try, don't automatically give up.
- When drawing the rest of the face, try to give it an austere expression, as if the character is very focused.
- As you improve your technique for drawing the eyes of the Hyuga and Byakugan clan members, you can begin to modify the angle of the upper and lower eyelid to give different expressions.
- Eyes with the Byakugan ability are typically white or pale lavender; therefore, do not waste time coloring them, but you can go over them with ink.
- The eyes of the Hyuga clan members have no glow or quality, so don't worry too much about shading.
