Everyone has overripe bananas at home. Instead of throwing them away and wasting them, use them for the preparation of different delicious recipes and for other original purposes.

Method 1 of 5: Banana Bread
Banana bread is a traditional and highly regarded dish. For this recipe you will only need a few ingredients that you probably already have at home.
Step 1. Prepare the ingredients
- 3 very ripe bananas reduced to a pulp
- 180 g of flour
- 150 g of brown sugar
- 225 ml of milk
- 30 g of butter
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla
- 150 g chopped chocolate, dried fruit, nuts (optional)
Step 2. Heat the oven to 350 degrees
Step 3. Mix the first six ingredients in a bowl
So if you want, add the chocolate, dried fruit or nuts.
Step 4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking sheet
Alternatively, use a cake pan or muffin molds depending on how you prefer to serve the bread.
Step 5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, checking for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center of the bread
For muffins, bake for 25-30 minutes.
Step 6. Let the bread cool in the pan

Method 2 of 5: Green Milkshake
Green milkshakes are very nutritious, light and easy to prepare foods.
Step 1. Prepare the ingredients
In addition to a couple of ripe bananas, for the recipe you will need:
- 1 large handful of chopped spinach or kale
- 250 g of plain yogurt
- 1 generous spoonful of peanut butter
- 1 apple cut into small pieces
- 200 g of cow, soy or almond milk
- Cinnamon and honey (just enough)
Step 2. Combine all ingredients with a blender or mixer
If necessary, turn off the blender every 20 seconds to mix any remaining food on the rim with a rubber spatula.
Step 3. Pour the mixture into a glass
If you want, add a handful of grains, berries or whipped cream.
Method 3 of 5: Banana and Nuts Ice Cream without Milk
An alternative and inexpensive banana ice cream recipe for those with lactose intolerance, or a vegan recipe using vanilla instead of honey.
Step 1. Prepare the ingredients
- 2 or 3 very ripe bananas
- 170 ml of water, soy or almond milk
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 35 g of chopped dried fruit
Step 2. Mash the bananas
Place them in a resealable plastic bag and store them in the freezer overnight.
Step 3. Mix the bananas with the liquid until you get a creamy consistency
Before mixing bananas, wait for them to soften.
Step 4. Mix the honey and dried fruit
Pour into a bowl.

Method 4 of 5: Plant Supplement

Step 1. Peel a banana
Set the peel aside and reduce the banana to a pulp by adding 110ml of water.
Step 2. Dig up some soil from your garden next to a plant that needs extra nourishment
Pour the banana mixture into the soil.
Step 3. Put the peel of the fruit in a jar full of water to create a nourishing "juice"
Step 4. Mix one part of "banana juice" with five parts of water
Step 5. Feed the mixture to the plants regularly

- 3 very ripe bananas in mush

- 250 ml of maple syrup
- 225 ml of fruit juice
- 1 small glass of rum
